Board Certified: Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine
Who I am and what I stand for.
I am dedicated to delivering highly individualized care, recognizing that every patient’s story, concerns, and health goals are unique. My approach blends evidence-based medicine with a deeply personal, relationship-centered style, ensuring that clinical decisions are grounded in the latest research while remaining tailored to the individual. Patients value my ability to combine advanced gastroenterology expertise with a welcoming, hometown feel — where they are not simply treated as cases, but as people. This balance of scientific rigor and genuine human connection defines my philosophy of care.
I began my career at Indiana University in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and in 2023 took the leap to being the Digestive Disease Program at Riverview Health. I was able to bring two partners with me (Dr. Matt Bohm and Dr. Sashi Sagi) and together we have built the state of the art Westfield Endoscopy Center (WEC).
I look forward to continue serving the patients of central Indiana.

I was named by Dr. William Tierney as the Director of Data Core at the Regenstrief Institute. This important role is co-funded for 30% FTE by the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) and the Regenstrief Institute to lead the research services from existing data available through the Indiana Network for Patient Care (INPC) and other databases. This position leads fourteen data managers (Masters and PhD level who query the data sets) as well as several supportive positions with over $2 million in annual budget.
I was then named by Dr. Peter Embi to be the Medical Director of Research Services that encompasses the oversight and management of the Regenstrief Data Core (previous Director position) as well as the technical development (programmers) that had previously been housed within the Center for Biomedical Informatics.
